WE HAVE A GREAT TIME AT OUR SHOWS AND ROPINGS

Each year, the TCCA hosts one of the largest sanctioned, registered Corriente Cattle Show and Ropings in the country! We also host ropings/non-sanctioned performance shows and cattle sales.

The sanctioned Show and Roping is usually held in the spring. The show includes conformation classes and performance classes. Licensed Judges judge each entry to the NACA Guideline For Judges as far as conformation. Then, we hold performance classes, where the cattle are roped by professional ropers (many are current NFR qualifiers!). The Judge judges each entry on the animal's roping characteristics (i.e. speed, head carriage, running straight and true, how the animal handles the rope, etc.). Yes, quality roping experiences come from having quality roping animals...and IT IS IN THE GENES!

The ropings and non-sanctioned performance shows and cattle sales are usually held in the summer. These events are basically team ropings with GREAT CATTLE! The ropers also act as the performance judge and select the best roping animals. The ropers are also able to purchase and take home QUALITY roping and breeding animals.
